Product Description

Your gut is home to trillions of tiny tenants, and like all good tenants they need feeding. That is what prebiotic fiber is: the favorite food of your friendly gut flora. Swallowed probiotic capsules face a rough journey through the stomach, so the simple, time-honored move is to feed the good flora you already have and let them flourish.

This blend is ten real plants, powdered, and nothing more. Caramel-sweet dates and creamy banana. Gentle acacia fiber, tapped from trees in the African drylands the same way for generations. Earthy dandelion and burdock roots, springtime asparagus, apple peel with its famous pectin, revered holy basil, and velvety slippery elm bark. It tastes like a treat, not a chore.

Most of us fall far short of the daily fiber our bodies were built for. One daily teaspoon supports normal digestion and normal elimination regularity, which is a fancy way of saying it helps keep things moving comfortably, the way nature intended. Each 320g bag holds 53 servings.

  • Ingredients

    • Powdered Dates: The caramel-sweet fruit of the date palm, an oasis treasure traded across deserts for thousands of years. Dates bring natural sweetness plus gentle fiber your friendly gut flora love to snack on.
    • Acacia Fiber: The golden sap of acacia trees growing in the African drylands, gathered by hand the same way for generations. It is a famously gentle soluble fiber that feeds beneficial flora and supports comfortable, normal digestion.
    • Dandelion Root: A backyard herb with an old-world resume, dug and dried by herbalists for centuries. Its natural inulin is a favorite meal for friendly flora and supports normal digestion.
    • Burdock Root: Known as gobo in Japan, where it is sliced into soups and stir-fries, and long prized by Western herbalists too. Burdock brings earthy prebiotic fiber that helps keep digestion humming along normally.
    • Pea Fiber: From the humble green pea comes a plain-spoken plant fiber that adds gentle bulk. It quietly supports normal elimination regularity, the unglamorous hero of feeling good.
    • Asparagus: A spring delicacy since Roman times, and one of nature's tidy little packages of prebiotic inulin. It helps feed the friendly flora that call your belly home.
    • Apple Peel: The best part of the apple, if you ask the pectin. The peel carries the fruit's celebrated natural fiber, which supports regularity and a happy, normal digestive rhythm.
    • Banana: Sunny, sweet, and smoothie famous. Banana lends creamy natural sweetness plus prebiotic goodness your gut flora greet like an old friend.
    • Holy Basil: Called tulsi in India and revered in Ayurvedic practice as the incomparable one, grown by temple doorways for centuries. It supports a calm, settled feeling that pairs beautifully with a well-fed belly.
    • Slippery Elm Bark: The velvety inner bark of a North American tree, stirred into soothing drinks by generations of herbalists. Mixed with water it turns silky, lending gentle comfort to the digestive tract.
    Please remember...

Be aware that any fiber can cause gas and bloating, and here’s why. The main food source for Candida yeast is sugar and refined carbs, and the main food source for probiotics (the good gut flora) is fiber. When you eat fiber, you are feeding billions of microorganisms in your gut- that means billions of little critters eating, digesting, pooping and farting inside you. This is normal to all living things. You need these guys- they are your army fighting to keep you healthy and that army needs to be fed and anything that eats also poops and farts. This causes a buildup of gas inside you, but it is only temporary. The gas created from probiotics is not a bad thing. Noted you may not like having a bloated look for a few hours, but the next morning when you wake up, you’ll probably be more chiseled and better looking than ever!
